Henderson Volleyball Routs Madisonville 3-0

Henderson County is building momentum for the postseason after routing Madisonville-North Hopkins 3-0 Tuesday night.

The Lady Colonels played their final home match of the regular season, capturing a 25–16, 25–14, 25–4 victory over the Lady Maroons.Henderson is now 23-9 heading into the regular-season finale at Crittenden County on Thursday.

Madisonville’s girls are now 15-18.

Emmy Sword led the Lady Colonels with eight kills, six digs, and an ace. Caeson Hargitt added five kills and four blocks.

Evangeline Loffland recorded four kills, six digs, three aces and a block. Kylee Lyons tallied three kills and five blocks.

Gabby Melvin totaled three kills, four digs, two aces and a block. Lilly Clark had one kill.

Setters Kamryn Raley had nine assists and six aces while Addi Kirtley had nine assists, four digs and three aces.

Ella Whitledge recorded 19 digs, five assists and three aces for the Lady Colonels. Lilly Payne had two blocks.

Meanwhile, Madisonville got four kills, a block, four assists and four digs from Leah Moody. Bri Pettit had three kills and a block while Sadie Kirk had three kills and an ace.

Cadence Curry recorded eight assists, five digs and an ace. Carlee Sandidge had six digs and an ace. Jeala Bottoms had one kill and a block along with two digs.

Lilly Gobin had a kill and two digs. Katelyn Jones recorded one kill. Mashyla McAdoo had two digs and an ace.

Madisonville finishes up regular-season play on Thursday by hosting University Heights Academy.
