
With the final season of high school wrestling coming up for the Hopkinsville Tigers, there have been some changes in the leadership for both the boys and girls teams.
School officials announced Thursday afternoon that effective immediately. Dison Myers has been named as interim head coach for the Tiger girls’ wrestling program and assistant HHS wrestling coach Cameron DeArmond has been named as interim head coach for the Tiger boys wrestling program.
Myers currently serves as the girls’ wrestling coach at Christian County High and will oversee both programs during their final season. He began his coaching career as an assistant wrestling coach at Mount Union High School in Pennsylvania and has served as the girls’ at Christian County High School for the past two years.
DeArmond, a 2017 graduate of Hopkinsville High School, competed in wrestling throughout middle and high school and went on to wrestle for two years at Lindsey Wilson College.
