SPOTLIGHT ATHLETE – Maggie Wolfe

Maggie Wolfe was good at softball, but chose to become really good at soccer. And the Trigg County senior has the hardware to prove it.

Maggie recently saw her high school soccer career end in the region semifinals, capping a career that saw her and her teammates win 65 games in four years in addition to four straight district titles.

She grew up playing softball and was a standout at the younger travel ball level. However, a switch to soccer in middle school paved the way for Maggie to excel at the high school level.

Her career totals of 28 goals and 50 assists may not jump off the page, but her ability to hold down the midfield with her booming leg and facilitate the Lady Wildcat offense saw her earn All-District honors three times and All-Region accolades twice.

She is just one of a handful of Lady Wildcats to hand out 50 assists in her career.
