University Heights Academy eighth grader Molly Cavinder finished in 27th place at the Class 1A Region 1 cross country race on Saturday at Logan County.
Her time of 29:01 on the 3.1-mile course was her fastest of the year by over three minutes.
Murray’s Jade Green won the race with a time of 20:31.
