
The Fort Campbell Falcons finished in 13th place at the Kentucky Beef Council Class 1A State Cross Country meet on Saturday in Lexington.
The Falcons were one point behind 12th-place and Region 1 winner University Heights Academy and 114 points ahead of 16th-place Dawson Springs.
Senior Ryker Kramer was the first Falcon to finish, coming in 48th place with a time of 18:23 over the 3.1-mile course at the Kentucky Horse Park. It was the third state meet run for Kramer, who was 101st last year.
Seth Puraty made his fourth state meet appearance and was 66th in 18:59.
Alexander Heinrich scored a 78th-place finish in 19:10.
Jayden Perry competed in his fourth state cross country meet on Saturday and was 86th in 19:24.
Liam Voelkel finished in 146th place in 20:14.
Rounding out the day for the Falcons were Layne Barbie, who was 154th in 20:21, and Lincoln Wilbur, who was 158th in 20:26.
Louisville Collegiate’s James Gurley took first place with a time of 15:51.
