The Fort Campbell Lady Falcons came in 12th place at the Kentucky Beef Council Class 1A State Cross Country Championship on Saturday.
The Lady Falcons finished 30 points out of a top 10 finish and were 11 points better than Region 1 champion Dawson Springs.
Seventh grader Abby Roberts led the Lady Falcons with a 31st-place finish with a personal best time for 5000 meters in 21:47.
Eighth grader Liliana Ketterl came in 36th place in 22:07, one second ahead of 37th-place finisher Delaney Perry.
Alexa Doyle finished in 126th place in 24:58, and Zoey Wengerd was 206th in 29:19.
Beechwood’s Lily Parke repeated as Class 1A state champion with a time of 18:55.
