Owensboro Catholic Ends Fort Campbell’s Season in Dominant Fashion

The Fort Campbell Falcons football team took on Owensboro Catholic in the first round of the playoffs on Friday night, and the latter was able to end the other’s season.

OCath defeated the Falcons 61-7 in the first round of the KHSAA football playoffs. The Aces finished with 487 yards of offense to the Falcons 225 yards.

Aces Quarterback Dremail Carothers was 17-21 for 271 yards and five touchdowns. Owensboro Catholic went up 33-0 before the Falcons were able to score for the first and only time. Their only touchdown of the game came from a 19-yard run by Kyree Ferguson.

As for some of the Falcon’ stats, Keshawn Dixon finished with 16 carries for 143 yards. He eclipsed the 1500 yard rushing mark for the year ending with 1539 yards in 10 games played. The Falcons finish the season with a 4-7 record.
