Fort Campbell’s Abby Roberts continued the recent tradition of Lady Falcon seventh graders running well at their first state cross country meet.
Roberts ran a personal best time of 21:47 to finish in 31st place at the Class 1A State Meet in Lexington as her times in the final three 5K races of the season dropped by nearly 30 seconds.
Roberts says she still stays in touch with former Lady Falcon Emmie Underwood, who won the state meet as a seventh grader two years ago.
