
Hopkinsville High School captured its fourth straight top-five finish at the KHSAA Region 1 Cheer Competition on Saturday at McCracken County High School.
Hoptown came in fourth place in the Game Day Small Division, which is comprised of squads with five to 19 cheerleaders. Their score was 70.10, which was 2.2 points out of a state qualifying spot.
Hopkinsville finished in fifth place at region last year and has finished no worse than fifth place each of the last four seasons.
