
Todd County Central finished in eighth place at the KHSAA Region 2 Cheerleading Competition on Saturday at McCracken County.
Teams in the traditional Third and Fourth Region comprise Region 2 for cheerleading and make it year in and year out one of the most challenging in the state.
Todd County Central received a score of 68.60, which would have been high enough to qualify for state in one other region that competed on Saturday.
The Game Day Small Division requires teams to have a minimum of five cheerleaders and a maximum of 19. There were 17 teams in Game Day Small Division on Saturday, with the top five scores advancing to state.
