Union County’s cheerleading squad came in ninth place at Saturday’s Region 1 Cheer Competition at McCracken County High School.
Union’s score of 64.40, which was three-tenths of a point behind eighth-place Caldwell County and 7.1 points ahead of 10th-place Dawson Springs.
Union County competed in the Game Day Small Division, which consists of 5-19 cheerleaders.
