Bowlers from Hopkinsville and Christian County were among those taking part in the Early Season Region 1 bowling tournament in Mayfield over the weekend. A total of 17 boys teams took part in the tournament.
Christian County came up with a top 10 finish for the event, coming in 8th, while Hopkinsville finished 14th.
The top bowler for Christian County was Jaxson Hall, who rolled a 566 three-game series with a high game of 230.
Christian Lane was second high for the Colonels with a 554 series and a high game of 212.
Hopkinsville was led by Kyle Bauman with a 518 series and a high game of 257, which was the highest game bowled in the tournament.
Hopkinsville, Christian County, and Heritage Christian are set to take to the lanes for a match Tuesday, November 18, at Southern Lanes in Hopkinsville.
