
Caldwell County’s guys finished up an undefeated preseason slate by going 3-0 in scrimmage action at Crittenden County on Saturday.
The Tigers opened action in Marion with a 64-12 victory over Fulton City.
Daelyn Lander had 14 points and Dayton Wilson 10 to lead Caldwell in its opener.
The Tigers got eight points each from Jack Roach and Landon Mitchell. Pax Aikins had seven points. Ari Wells, Kese Wilson and Jase Sigler each scored four. Jayden Taylor had two points.
Caldwell then defeated Hickman County 57-37.
Aikins led the scoring in that game with 19 points while Lander had 14 and Wells 12.
The Tigers also got four points from Roach along with two points each from Mitchell Phelps, Kese Wilson, Dayton Wilson and Jaden Boyd.
Caldwell finished the day with a 60-9 victory over Crittenden County.
Aikins had nine points in that game while Jayden Taylor had seven.
Wells, Roach, Lander, Phelps and Zy Rollins had six points each. Duke Ward and Mitchell had five points apiece. Sigler and Brody Kirk added two points each.
The previous Saturday, the Tigers claimed a 59-55 scrimmage win at Ballard Memorial.
Caldwell will open regular-season play on Monday, Dec. 1, by hosting Murray.
