
Henderson County brought home a third-place finish at the Rick Cohn Swimming Invitational hosted by Hopkinsville High School on Saturday.
The Colonels scored 35 points to finish three points ahead of fourth-place Madisonville. Bowling Green (78) and Muhlenberg County (71) took the top two spots.
Boone Thompson came in second place in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:09.39 and fourth place in the 50-yard freestyle in 24.30 seconds.
Caden Boggess was third in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:08.76 and sixth in the 100-yard freestyle in 55.33 seconds.
Max Mays was third in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:04.12 and fifth in the 200-yard IM in 2:26.16.
Nate Raymer was eighth in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:28.05 and was 11th in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:00.99.
Seth Boggess came in eighth place in the 50-yard freestyle in 25.93 seconds and eighth in the 100-yard freestyle in 58.97 seconds.
The 200-yard medley relay team of Max Mays, Caden Boggess, Boone Thompson, and Seth Boggess finished in third place in 1:52.84. They also placed third in the 400-yard free relay in 3:49.48.
