Hoptown Places Ninth at Rick Cohn Invitational (w/PHOTOS)

The Hopkinsville boys’ swim team came in ninth place at Saturday’s annual Rick Cohn Invitational.

The Tigers had four individual top 10 finishes.

Levi Johnston came in fifth place in the 50-yard freestyle in 25.51 seconds and was fifth in the 100-yard fly in 1:02.54.

Owen Lockhart came in sixth place in the 500-yard freestyle in 6:53.27 and 12th place in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:30.19.

Simon Lockhart was 10th in the 200-yard IM in 2:42.99 and 15th in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:07.43.

Luke Johnston came in 20th place in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:42.26 and 25th place in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:17.29.

Elijah Ebbinger was 22nd in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:15.72 and was 31st in the 50-yard freestyle in 34.48 seconds.

Chase Rutland was 28th in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:21.88 and 29th in the 50-yard freestyle in 34.18 seconds.

Tyson Cavinder was 36th in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:37.94 and 38th in the 50-yard freestyle in 42.66 seconds.

The 200-yard medley relay team finished in eighth place in 2:14.81, and the 200-yard free relay team finished 10th in 2:05.52.
