In addition to topping the Trigg County girls soccer record book, Leiah Hite has put her name into both the state and region record books.

The Lady Wildcat senior set a school record with 60 goals in the 2025 season, which ranks as one of the 20 best seasons in state history. She had 12 hat tricks during the season and scored four or more goals eight times.

Hite finished her career with 153 goals, eight more than her sister Lania (2020-23) and 13 more than Lauren Frazier (2009-12).

Her total is tied for fourth most in girls’ region history behind Henderson County’s Maddie Griggs (217), University Heights Academy’s Lilly Strader (177), and Hopkinsville’s Lexie Bozell. She is tied with another Hopkinsville player, Bennett Peck.

She finished her career with 25 hat tricks and scored six goals in a game twice.

Hite also graduates as the region’s all-time assist leader with 112. It also puts her in the top five in state history. However, her exact placement is unknown because the Kentucky High School Athletic Association has not updated its public record book in four years.

She also owns the school record for assists in a season (34 in 2023) and had three or more assists in a game 15 times. Her teammate, Maggie Wolfe, finished second on the school’s list with 55, which also ranked 13th in regional history.
