Kentucky coach Kenny Brooks joined us on WLAP Sunday Morning Sports Talk last week after his team won at Louisville the previous day.
He shared a lot of personnel information with us along with coaching philosophy. However, he had a special way he wanted to end his segment on the show last Sunday.
“I’d love to say Happy Thanksgiving to all Kentuckians,” Brooks said.
He had a lot more to add for Big Blue Nation, though.
“It’s a wonderful time of the year. Sometimes it’s a struggle and we pray for everyone that they have a wonderful holiday season,” Brooks said. “We’re just very very thankful for all the support. We went down to Louisville yesterday and there was so much support there for us.
“It’s just a tremendous feeling to be a part of Kentucky and a state that really loves the university.
So our wishes go out to them, and happy holidays everyone.”

Kenny Brooks has done the best job out of the big 3 coaches. Which are men's basketball, football, and women's basketball. He has done excellent. With recruiting, winning , and getting his players to buy in.
