
Four Lady Tigers earned medals as Caldwell County’s girls placed fifth out of over 20 teams in the Kirkwood Girls Invitational in Clarksville on Saturday.
Seventh grader Damari Harris won the 235-pound weight class, winning all three of her matches by pin.
Keirli Herran was second at 145, taking her first two matches by pinn before being pinned in the championship match.
Alyvia Barnwell placed third at 126 pounds and Aniyaree Wilson was third at 132. Barnwell went 3-1 on the day while Wilson was 4-1 in her weight class.
Westinn Overbey finished fourth at 138, going 3-2 but falling in the third-place match.
Caldwell totaled 26 points to place fifth in the team standings.
Next up for the Lady Tigers is the Screaming Eagles Invitational Saturday, Dec. 6, at Ohio County High School.
The big local event for Caldwell’s girls will be the Richey Rumble, which is set for Saturday, Jan. 3, at the CAB gym in Princeton.
