Lady Storm Rolls Past Warren Central to Claim Opener

Hopkins County Central’s girls overwhelmed Warren Central 70-24 in the Lady Storm’s season opener Saturday afternoon.

Hopkins Central opened the game with a 21-2 run and was never challenged.

The margin was 35-13 at halftime.

The Lady Storm held a 57-21 advantage through three quarters.

Calajia Mason led three Hopkins Central players in double figures with 19 points. Tyah White and Addie Menser each added 13 points.

Myra Mayberry had 13 points for Warren Central, which is now 0-2.

The Lady Storm will hit the road Tuesday night for a 7th District matchup at Dawson Springs.
