
Hopkinsville High finished in 23rd place at the West Creek Coyote Classic on Saturday in Clarksville.
Nicholas Herrera went 2-2 at 132, and Andrew Kraft also posted a 2-2 record in the 138-pound class.
Ayden Brison went 1-2 at 113.
Christon Johnson went 1-2 at 126 before losing in the third consolation round.
Garrison Meacham won his first match in the 144-pound class before dropping his next two.
Nicholas Lacosta went 1-2 in the 190-pound class.
Michael Harper wrestled at 285.
Also wrestling for Hopkinsville were JyMiir Williams at 120 and Michael Harper at 285.
For the girls, A’Niya Groves finished in third place in the 235-pound class. She dropped her semifinal match but bounced back to win her next two by pin.
Also wrestling for Hopkinsville were Emma DeArmond in the 126-pound class, Juliette Aguero in the 132-pound class, and Trinitee Lopez in the 185-pound class.
As a team, Hopkinsville finished 23rd out of 27 teams with 21.5 points.
