
The Fort Campbell Lady Falcons brought home a 10th-place finish at the West Creek Coyote Wrestling Classic on Saturday.
Kayla Maslonka took runner-up honors in the 126-pound class. She won her first two matches by pin and won the semifinal in a 13-8 decision. She lost to unbeaten Emily Tapia of Watertown, Tennessee, in the championship match.
Delaney Perry went 2-2 in the 114-pound class.
Zoey Wingerd went 2-2 in the 132-pound class.
Liz Porter went 2-2 in the 145-pound class.
Tristan Caldwell went 1-2 at 120
Anna Clark won her first match in the 152-pound class and finished 1-2.
Sevira Taito won three matches in the 235-pound class but missed a podium finish with a loss in the consolation semifinals.
Also wrestling for the Lady Falcons were Emily Herrera in the 100-pound class, Jaycee Bolen at 107, Starlet Hurst at 138, and Anela Shea-Suanez at 165.
As a team, Fort Campbell finished in 10th place with 55 points, one point behind Montgomery Central and five and a half points ahead of 11th-place Overton High School.
