Second-place finishes for both the Hopkinsville Tigers and Lady Tigers at a three-team swim meet Tuesday evening at Muhlenberg County.
In the girls’ competition, the Lady Tigers had 42 points, second to Muhlenberg County with 88. Christian County finished in third place.
On the boys’ side, Hopkinsville finished with 23 points, well behind Muhlenberg County in first place with 114 points. Christian County ended up in third place.
Top two finishes for the Lady Tigers were:
1st Place – 200 Yard IM Relay – (Brilyn Merrick, Grace Cansler, Lily Johnston, and Evelyn Bangart)
1st Place – 100 Yard Breaststroke – Grace Cansler
2nd Place – 400 Yard Free Relay – (Kaydon Coats, Brooke Ebbinger, Grace Cansler, and Lily Johnston)
2nd Place – 100 Yard Butterfly – Lily Johnston
Top two finishers for the Tigers were:
2nd Place – 200 Yard IM – Levi Johnston
2nd Place – 500 Yard Free – Owen Lockhart
2nd Place – 100 Yard Butterfly – Levi Johnston
2nd Place – 400 Yard Free Relay – (Owen Lockhart, Simon Lockhart, Levi Johnston, and Luke Johnston)
