
The Hopkinsville High bowling team finished in seventh place on Saturday at Southern Lanes in a nine-team match hosted by the Tigers, Christian County, and Heritage Christian Academy.
In singles play, Hoptown bowled a 982 to finish in seventh place. The top four schools advanced to the singles championship bracket, which Christian County won.
Combining the singles matches and the Bakers, where teammates alternate frames in a single game for one score, Hopkinsville also finished in seventh place with 1,727 points. Greenwood was first with 2,402, and Graves County was second with 2,398.
Renegade Watkins was Hoptown’s top bowler with a two-game individual score of 259, good for 17th place.
Kyle Bauman finished in 20th place with a score of 248, followed by Chaison White in 21st place with a 245. Brent Rivers bowled a 230 to finish in 24th place, and Kamdyne Sharp was 27th with a 156.
