Caldwell County’s girls had three medalists in the Sister Slam wrestling tournament at Paducah Tilghman on Friday.
Westinn Overbey placed second at 132 pounds while Anna Urbanowski was third at 152 and Virginia Stewart was third at 185.
Overbey won her semifinal match by pin before being pinned in the championship match.
Urbanowski went 3-1 at 152. After a semifinal round loss, Urbanowski made it back to the third-place match where she won by pin.
Stewart also went 3-1 at 185. She also lost in the semifinals but came back to win by pin in the third-place match.
Kimberly Shrewsbury went 3-2 at 114 but failed to place.
Caldwell, which was without several wrestlers in the tournament, placed seventh in the team standings with 62 points.
Fort Campbell won the event with 139.5 points. Trigg County was second with 113.5.
Caldwell’s girls will wrestle Saturday, Dec. 20, at the Rossview Lady Hawks Invitational in Clarksville.
