Trigg County finished in fifth place at its Arrowhead Holiday Classic on Saturday.
Jaslyn Walter and Caleb Wadlington had the top scores for Trigg County, each shooting a 284. For Walter, the score was a personal best, and she finished in third place in the girls’ division.
Megan Wadlington shot a 276 to finish in ninth place, and Piper Mackey shot a 273 to finish 12th.
Makenna Southwick shot a 273 to claim 14th place, and Kiara Brown shot a personal best 267 to come in 35th place.
Bailee Brandon (264) finished in 38th place, Madison Fears (254) was 59th, Jemma Carroll (244) was 80th, Lilliana Wido (240) was 88th, Jessa White (232) was 95th, Netra Patel (232) was 96th, Alexis Starcher (221) was 111th, Chloe White (197) was 134th, and Serena Hanson (123) was 171st.
Marshall County’s Emmalee Downs (287) and Kenna Wilcox (285) finished 1-2 in the individual standings.
Caleb Wadlington came in third place with his 284.
Zander Smith was 37th with a score of 262, Kollan Carroll (261) was 42nd, Bodhi Buchman (253) was 60th, Jaydon Ennis (225) was 110th, and Lathan Southwick (192) was 143rd.
Marshall County’s Caden Hibbins shot a 289 to take first place, while his teammate Shane Wenzel was second with the same 289 score.
Marshall County won the team title with 3,281 points. Murray High finished second with 3,236. Trigg County was fifth with 3,185 points.
The top 12 scores are used for the team total, with at least four guys and four girls included.
Saturday’s tournament was held in the school’s co-curricular building, the first time it has hosted a Trigg County high school varsity event, as renovations to Wildcat Gym run behind schedule.
Meanwhile, Caleb Wadlington won the season-opening Graves County Holiday Shootout on December 6 in Mayfield, helping the Arrowcats to a fifth-place team finish.
Wadlington’s score of 294 was a personal best for the junior.
Megan Wadlington led the girls at Graves County with a seventh-place finish with a score of 274.
