
It was a let-it-fly night in Bowling Green on Tuesday. Fort Campbell and Warren East combined to shoot 67 3-pointers, with the Raiders being just a little bit more adept at it in taking a 67-63 win over the Falcons for their first win of the season.
Warren East had to overcome a monster night from Tyreek Anthony to hold on for the 4-point win.
Fort Campbell led 16-12 after the opening quarter. Warren East battled back in the second quarter and took a 32-29 lead at the half.
The Raiders came out in the second half and hit four 3-pointers in the third quarter and extended the lead out to 53-44. Fort Campbell made a run at Warren East over the final eight minutes, but the Raiders were able to hold on for the 4-point win.
Tyreek Anthony came up big for the Falcons with 30 points and 19 rebounds. Garrett VanNatta added 12 points, while Kyre Ferguson ended up with 11 points.
Luke Barron paced Warren East with 20 points. Cooper Doyle had 19 points, and Mylan Reynolds finished with 18 points.
The Falcons won the battle of the boards 57 to 33.
Fort Campbell (3-4) will be back in action Friday when the Falcons take on Christian Fellowship.
