This week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ for the week of December 8 is Christian County High School’s Genesis McGee. Genesis was selected based on her efforts in the Lady Colonel’s homecourt win last Monday night against Madisonville-North Hopkins.
Genesis helped get the Lady Colonels off to a quick start as they ran out to a 28-10 lead in the first half on the way to a 67-44 win.
She finished the game with a double-double effort, scoring 12 points and pulling down 10 rebounds as Christian County won for the 4th straight time over the Lady Maroons.
The Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ is selected each week from one of the five schools in Christian County (Christian County, Hopkinsville, University Heights, Heritage Christian, and Fort Campbell) based on their performance in a big game or event for their team that week.
