Four players hit double figures as the Dawson Springs Panthers picked up their second win of the season Saturday. The Panthers picked up a 69-57 homecourt win over Whitesville Trinity.
The Panthers came out and took an early 22-12 lead after the opening quarter. The lead grew to 38-23 at the half.
Trinity came out in the third quarter and made a charge to get back in the game. The Raiders closed to within 47-41 as the final quarter got ready to get underway.
However, there would be no comeback for Trinity. The Panthers got big final quarters from Ethan Slaton and Cooper Burge to hold on for the 12-point win.
Burge and Slaton each scored 17 points to lead the Panthers. Noah Riley finished the game with 13 points. Easton Bourland added 12.
Harrison Barnett was the only player to hit double figures for the Raiders with 22 points.
Dawson Springs (2-6) is now off until December 28th when the Panthers will face Jackson County in the Cumberland Falls Invitational Tournament.
