This week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ for the week of December 15 is Christian County High School’s Anaysia Bagwell. Anaysia was selected based on her efforts and history-making performance in the Lady Colonel’s 78-34 road win last Thursday night against Todd County Central.
Not only did she lead the Colonels in scoring with 16 points in the game, Anaysia, who has been a starter for Christian County since the 7th grade, also reached a big milestone for her career. With a basket in the first half, Bagwell scored her 1,999th and 2,000th career points.
The Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ is selected each week from one of the five schools in Christian County (Christian County, Hopkinsville, University Heights, Heritage Christian, and Fort Campbell) based on their performance in a big game or event for their team that week.
