Todd County Central played their second game of the day at the Chopped Lawn Care Holiday Classic against the host team of South Warren. Unfortunately for the Rebels, it did not go like the first game, as they lost to the Spartans 87-33.

South Warren was not coming to play in the first to quarters, as they scored 30 in the first, and 28 in the second. They also made a barrage of three-pointers over the course of the first two quarters.

As for the Rebels, it was not quite the same for them. They scored just 11 combined points in the first half, as the Spartans’ defense proved to be too much for them to handle and get around.

The third quarter was the best one of the game for Todd County, as they were able to score 13 points behind five from Spencer Pool. But it was not enough to compete, as South Warren was still able to score 12, despite that being their worst quarter of the game.

After that, all it took was the Spartans scoring 18 to close the game out on their home court and get the commanding 87-33 win.

This is their third win in a row against Todd County Central, as the Rebels have not won a game against the Spartans since November of 2021.

The leading scorer in the game for Todd was Pool with nine points, and John Ross Cardwell was also able to contribute seven of his own.

The Rebels will be hoping that they can get back on track in their next game against Glasgow on Tuesday, December 23. The game will once again be played at South Warren as part of the Chopped Lawn Care Holiday Classic, and will be played at 11:30 a.m.
