Enjoying “Christmas at Array” is something that has basically become a tradition for my wife and I.

The variety show at Mountain of Entertainment Theater is a fun holiday celebration for all age with Christmas classics along with a variety of other music fine tuned for the show and performers.

This year some of my family got to experience “Christmas at Array” for the first time and I was hoping they would like it as much as I did — and they all did.

My 17-year-old grandson, Cooper, thought the show was “fun and very enjoyable” and my 16-year-old granddaughter, Savana, enjoyed the “many different performances” that made the show fun.

My son, Jeremy, got a bit more sentimental watching the show.

“Overall the show brought back so many memories of sitting with family singing Christmas carols or being together as a family at Christmas Eve church services singing those wonderful hymns,” he said.

The show’s singers and energetic dancers keep you entertained with a variety of music and if that’s not enough, the speciality acts alway deliver.

My granddaughter was a big fan of “Go Gaucho.” an Argentina gaucho act featuring Amberlyn and Sebastian Sayago. Their act changes for the Christmas show and features a lot of leg movement, stomping and more. It also includes boleadoras,  double balls affixed to long leather cords, to dance with their native drums.

“They had a lot of energy and were exciting to watch,” Savana said.

My grandson really liked Semyon Gruzdev and the new act — Cyr wheel — he added earlier this year. It is an acrobatic apparatus that consists of a single large ring made of aluminum with a diameter just a bit taller than the performer. He will stand inside the Cyr wheel to make it roll and spin gyroscopically while performing acrobatic moves in and around the rotating wheel.

“He did a bunch of spins which were very cool,” Cooper said.

My daughter-in-law, Christy, was a big fan of the “remake of the 80/90’s pop songs that added a Christmas twist” and thought during the show it was her favorite part.

“Now that the show is over my favorite part was probably the actual story line of the  the reason for the ‘Christmas season,’” she said. “The Christmas theme was nice but I wish some of the actual Christmas songs were a little more traditional and I would have loved to hear, ‘Oh Little Town of Bethlehem,’ but I loved the show.”

Both grandchildren thought the show had a “festive” feel that they enjoyed. They both were surprised at how much they enjoyed the Christmas theme throughout the show.

My son’s favorite part was the “Country Christmas” portion.

“The songs brought me back to Christmas morning around the Christmas tree at my grandparents. The setting behind the songs just made the songs come to life again for a once in a lifetime chance at going down memory lane for me,” he said. “The whole show hit the Christmas theme perfectly.  They had all the songs from way back to newer ones that I enjoyed.”

Like every Array show, the holiday show includes a tribute to veterans. However, this one also has the traditional nativity segment at the end to close the show with a special message.

So make a note about this show and if you are going to be in the Pigeon Forge area during the 2026 holiday season, take time to see this show.
