Kentucky coach Will Stein has started his offensive line rebuild at Kentucky by adding Baylor transfer center Coleton Price.
He was on campus last weekend when Stein was in Lexington before he headed back to Oregon to resume his duties as offensive coordinator for the college football playoff game against Indiana.
The 6-foot-3, 318-pound Price spent four seasons at Baylor. He was a consensus three-star prospect ranked as the nation’s 20th best offensive guard in his recruiting class by ESPN and 50th best interior offensive lineman by 247Sports.
After redshirting his first season, he was a three-year starter for coach Dave Aranda after redshirting his first season in 2022. He got his first chance to start midway of the 2023 season and started every game the next 2 1/2 years.
He was considering visits to South Carolina, Alabama, and Ole Miss before committing to UK after his first transfer portal visit.
Price already has 31 starts and played against Auburn, SMU, Cincinnati and Utah during the 2025 season.
He has one year of eligibility and will use it to play for Stein and offensive line coach Cutter Leftwich at Kentucky.
Dallas Dickerson Released
Stein lost one of UK’s recent signees Monday when Georgia receiver Dallas Dickerson was released from his letter of intent. Dickerson was recruited by former UK coach Mark Stoops and his staff.
He was a three-star recruit and top 600 player overall making him one of the higher rated players in UK’s small signing class.

Certainly passes the “ eye test “. ALL the offense starts with that position.
Sure does pass th eye test, Paul. Such a vital position and Coach Stein & his staff land a winner in a hurry!
My dad was a huge Paul Brown fan, and he always pointed out the first person Brown drafted when he became the owner of the Cincinnati Bengals was a center.
I think we got the right guy running our football program now. As for the basketball team, the women are respectable; the men's team is a major embarrassment! We have not beaten 1 good team this season. Don't be surprised if Mizzou hangs an "L" on us tomorrow night.
We also got a interior offensive lineman from Tennessee with 3 years of eligibility left. Both of these lineman are major upgrades from what weve had here the last 4-5 years. The big blue wall will be back and better every year. This will be another patched up line. Now we need a couple of good tackles to commit. We should be pretty good on the inside. I know Price will start at Center. Wibberly will move to guard. We also have Selm at guard who should be ready in his third year of college football. Wood will be a great backup at tackle. Potentially starting depending on who we get. We need at least 4 more offensive lineman. That will put as at 6 transfers. We have great backups but who will improve and be ready to help? My money is on Selm. Possibly Wood. Strey is also a great offensive lineman. He took a redshirt last year but should be ready to backup next year then start in 2027.
Now being reported that Leavitt is visiting UT this week..go figure.
