Todd County Central and Clinton County faced off in the 4th Region All A Classic on Monday night. The Rebels were not able to advance and further, as it was the Bulldogs who were able to take control and get the dominating 88-40 win.

Todd Central did not get off to the best start in the first quarter, as they scored just seven points. To make matters worse, the Bulldogs came out of the starting gates on fire, scoring 26 points and making several threes in the first eight minutes.

Clinton was able to keep it going in the second with 20 more points, while the Rebels kept struggling with just 11. Spencer Pool was able to score five in the quarter, but it was not enough to keep Todd from going down 46-18 at half.

The Rebels had their best scoring quarter of the game in the third with 13, and they were led by Noah Rager with a pair of shots from beyond the arc. But 20 more points from the Bulldogs in the period held them grow their lead even more.

And to pour salt into the wound, Clinton scored another 22 in the fourth, while Todd ended the game with nine in the final period. As a result, the Bulldogs were able to come away with the commanding 88-40 victory.

They will face off against Russellville in the next round of the 4th Region All A Classic held at Cumberland County.

Pool led the way in scoring for the Rebels with 13, with eight of those coming in the first half. Conner Holder and Jayden Carrington were both also able to contribute eight of their own.

The Rebels will be looking to bounce back and get their fourth win in their next game on Friday, January 9, against Franklin-Simpson. The game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at Todd County Central High School.
