
The Christian County boys’ swim team captured a second-place finish at a five-team meet hosted by Bowling Green High School on Tuesday.
The Colonels tallied 226 points, which was two points ahead of third-place Hopkinsville. Bowling Green won with 706 points.
Shemar Barker finished second in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:21.89 and was fifth in the 50-yard freestyle in 29.82 seconds.
Kolton Parker was third in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:29.04 and 11th in the 100-yard freestyle and 1:14.31.
Sam Peck finished fourth in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:31.74 and 10th in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:41.10.
Bryce Hamlin finished sixth in the 500-yard freestyle in 7:18.24 and eighth in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:40.30.
Evan Meacham finished ninth in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:40.41 and 10th in the 100-yard freestyle and 1:14.03.
Zachary Manco finished 11th in the 50-yard freestyle in 37.12 seconds and was 14th in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:23.95.
Calyx Rizer finished 12th in the 50-yard freestyle in 37.30 seconds and was 16th in the 100-yard freestyle and 1:28.52.
Ryker Rizer finished 13th in the 50-yard freestyle in 37.73 seconds and was 17th in the 100-yard freestyle and 1:30.93.
Lucas Coats finished 14th in the 50-yard freestyle in 39.32 seconds and was 15th in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:26.68.
JiRell Maxie was 16th in the 50-yard freestyle in 44.95 seconds and was 20th in the 100-yard freestyle and 1:49.76.
Elijah Gray was 17th in the 50-yard freestyle in 45.68 seconds and was 18th in the 100-yard freestyle and 1:44.43.
The Colonels were third in the 400-yard free relay in 4:56.52.
The 200-yard medley relay team came in fifth place in a time of 2:27.69.
Christian County was sixth in the 200-yard free relay in 2:27.92.
