HCA Can’t Overcome Slow Start in Loss at Christian Fellowship

Another slow start cost the Heritage Christian Academy Lady Warriors on Thursday night. HCA was limited to just two field goals in the first half as they dropped a 40-18 road decision at Christian Fellowship.

The Lady Warriors scored four points in the first quarter, then were shut out in the second as CFS ran out to a big lead.

The Lady Warriors had their best quarter of the night when they put up 10 points. However, the CFS defense held Heritage to just two field goals in the fourth as they put the game away.

Ava DeJager and Allie Craft led the Lady Warriors with 6 points each. Sophie Arvin chipped in with four points.

Kylee Hines led Christian Fellowship with 12 points. Meleah Gregg and Kyndal Owen scored 9 points each.

HCA gets back to action Saturday afternoon against Christian County in an 8th District contest.
