Barbara Hale Baker is a 1979 graduate of Christian County and started attending games in the 1960’s as a kid with her dad. She was a four-year member and captain of the Colonelette Dance Team, which had the honor of being in the NYC Macy’s Day Parade.
After graduation, Barbara attended Bauder Design College, where she majored in interior design. She came back to Hopkinsville and for decades has been the face of Christian County events, in particular leading cheers at games and decorating for activities that support our students.
Her loud cheers and red high heels are known all across the state. Barbara is married to Christian County Hall of Fame Coach Ivan Baker, and her daughter Macy was a standout volleyball player at CCHS.
She loves Christian County High School and will forever be known as our “Super Colonel Fan” for life.
