Desmond Wilford is a 1994 graduate of CCHS. After qualifying three times for the state wrestling tournament, he became a state champion in the 171 lb wt class in 1994. Desmond was a member of the 1994 Junior National Freestyle Team.
In college, he was a two time conference champion and national qualifier at Meramec Community College, St. Louis, MO. Desmond was voted Junior College All-American.
He completed his college wrestling career at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Desmond resides in Omaha working as a professional performance coach.
