
Christian County advanced to the round of 16 at the Bowling Green Baker’s Classic on Saturday.
The Colonels entered the 25-team Baker’s bracket as the No. 13 seed following individual play. Christian County beat Bowling Green #2 two games to one and fell to Graves County in the round of 16 by the same 2-1 score.
A Baker game in bowling is a format in which five players alternate frames to bowl a single, shared game, creating a single score.
In the individual games to determine the seeding, Brycen Newcom and Michael DeArmond both rolled a two-game total of 364. Newcom’s high game was 224, and DeArmond’s was 186.
Christian Lane (349) had a high score of 180, while Brent Rivers (306) had a high game of 189. Jaxson Hall (297) bowled a high of 163, and Kane DeGiulio (277) had a high game of 140.
