
Hopkinsville’s boys swim team finished in 17th place at the Best of the West meet hosted by Bowling Green on Saturday.
The Tigers finished six points behind Greenbrier, Tennessee, for 16th place and five points ahead of Bardstown, which finished 18th.
The 200-yard medley relay team of Simon Lockhart, Levi Johnston, Owen Lockhart, and Luke Johnston finished in 18th place in 2:20.59.
Levi Johnston finished 11th in the 50-yard freestyle in 25.18 seconds and 11th in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:02.85.
Simon Lockhart finished 16th in the 200-yard IM in 2:35.54 and was 27th in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:25.88.
Owen Lockhart was 20th in the 500-yard freestyle in 6:43.73 and 36th in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:31.85.
Elijah Ebbinger was 30th in the 100-yard freestyle at 1:04.97 and was 32nd in the 50-yard freestyle in 28.27 seconds.
Tyson Cavinder was 34th in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:39.41 and was 52nd in the 50-yard freestyle in 31.27 seconds.
Luke Johnston was 39th in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:39.52 and was 63rd in the 50-yard freestyle in 35.36 seconds.
