
He was a big part of the passing attack for the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons in 2025 and now he is getting the chance to continue his football career on the collegiate level. On a social media post Monday evening, it was announced that tight end Jayden Travis had committed to play for Lindsey Wilson University in Columbia.
Travis led the Maroons in catches with 27 this past season. He had a total of 303 yards receiving with two touchdowns.
He also led the Maroons in catches during his junior season in 2024 with 25. That season, he had 330 yards and three touchdowns.
He helped lead the Maroons to a 7-4 finish in 2024 and an 8-3 finish in 2025.
