A defensive stalwart on the Madisonville-North Hopkins football team has decided where he will continue his career on the collegiate level. In a social media post Monday night, it was announced that Kirk LaGrange would be headed just up the road to play college football at Kentucky Wesleyan College.
Lagrange led the Maroons in tackles in 2025, finishing with 125, 89 solo and 36 assisted. He had 18 tackles for loss and six sacks.
He had four interceptions, with two of them returned for touchdowns. He also recovered two fumbles.
LaGrange helped lead the Maroons to an 8-3 record in 2025, falling to Greenwood in the first round of the playoffs.
