The Owensboro Catholic Lady Aces appear to be getting on a roll at a good time, with the All A Classic coming up next week. O-Cath won its 6th straight game Tuesday evening going on the road and knocking off Madisonville-North Hopkins 81-50.
The loss ended a two-game winning streak for the Lady Maroons, who had been coming off wins over Muhlenberg County and Wayne (WV).
The win was the 5th straight in the series for the Lady Aces. The two teams have played in the middle portion of January for the last five seasons.
The Lady Maroons are now 8-8 on the season and get ready for the return battle against crosstown and district rival Hopkins County Central next Tuesday.
