PHOTOS – Henderson County at the Best of the West Swim Meet

The Region 1 Swim Meet was postponed a week to Saturday, January 31 at Hopkinsville High School.

On January 10, the Henderson County boys’ swim team came in sixth place at the prestigious Best of the West swim meet hosted by Bowling Green High School.

The Colonels finished three points out of a top-five finish, with Central Harden totaling 203 points and Daviess County seventh with 158 points.

The 200-yard medley relay team came in fourth place in a time of 1:47.38, just four seconds behind the winner, South Warren.

Seth Boggess came in 13th place in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:04.77.

Cameron Anderson came in 34th place in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:31.09.

Max Mays was sixth in the 200-yard IM in 2:17.82.

Caden Boggess was 10th in the 50-yard freestyle in 24.60 seconds.

Jack Logan was 12th in the 50-yard freestyle in 25.34 seconds.

Nate Raymer was 18th in the 50-yard freestyle in 26.40 seconds.

Peyton Scheffer was 55th in the 50-yard freestyle in 32.01 seconds.

Caden Boggess was seventh in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:01.25.

Boone Thompson was fifth in the 100-yard freestyle in 52.34 seconds.

Seth Boggess was 13th in the 100-yard freestyle in 55.68 seconds.

Peyton Sheffer was 51st in the 100-yard freestyle at 1:12.94.

John Couch was 18th in the 500-yard freestyle in 6:39.65.

The 200-yard free relay team came in third place in a time of 1:37.62, just under three seconds behind the winner, Bowling Green.

Max Mays was fourth in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:01.07.

Nate Raymer was ninth in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:10.02.

John Couch was 13th in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:12.02.

Boone Thompson was fifth in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:05.47.

Jack Logan was 12th in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:14.82.

Cameron Anderson was 22nd in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:22.76.

The 400-yard free relay team came in 12th place in 4:14.99
