Lady Colonels Produce Best-Ever Region Finish in the Region Pool

The Christian County girls swim team produced its best-ever region tournament finish on Monday, placing fourth at Monday’s Region I Meet at the Rick Cohn Aquatic Center.

The Lady Colonels totaled 197 points to finish 32 points ahead of fifth-place Fort Campbell and 31 points behind third-place Murray. Hopkinsville (357) won the region title, and Henderson County (265) was second.

Lola Renshaw came in third place in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:42.34 and was 15th in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:36.64.

Gracelyn Clark finished in fifth place in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:38.34 and was 11th in the 50-yard freestyle in 32.82 seconds.

Addison Renshaw was fifth in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:30.01 and 11th in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:43.29.

Macy McGinnis came in seventh place in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:38.69 and was eighth in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:34.96.

Addison Peck was seventh in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:26.29 and 13th in the 50-yard freestyle in 34.31 seconds.

Lia Beckham was ninth in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:25.33 and was 19th in the 50-yard freestyle in 36.32 seconds.

Alyssa Mase came in 14th place in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:36.17 and 25th place in the 50-yard freestyle in 43.37 seconds.

The 200-yard medley relay team of Addison Peck, Lola Renshaw, Gracelyn Clark, and Addison Renshaw finished in fifth place in 2:30.25.

The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Peck, Clark, Addison Renshaw, and Macy McGinnis came in fifth place in 2:10.21.

The best relay finish of the day came from the 400-yard freestyle relay team of McGinnis, Lola Renshaw, Lia Beckham, and Madison Spain, who finished third in 5:41.60.
