
Fort Campbell finished in fifth place at the Region I Swim Meet hosted by Hopkinsville High School on Monday.
Branson Bussy was fourth in the 200-yard IM in 2:29.76 and fourth in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:12.96.
Harrison Ling was fifth in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:20.23 and was eighth in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:14.36.
Andrew McWherter was eighth in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:27.09.
Liam Kolsch was eighth in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:04.42 and ninth in the 50-yard freestyle in 28.25 seconds.
Joshua DiGiovanni was 12th in the 50-yard freestyle in 30.11 seconds and 12th in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:28.52.
Jack Mann was 12th in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:16.26 and 16th in the 200-yard freestyle in 3:01.06.
Seth Puraty came in 14th place in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:36.87 and 18th place in the 50-yard freestyle in 34.50 seconds.
The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Liam Kolsch, Harrison Ling, Andrew McWherter, and Brandon Bussy finished in second place in 4:14.33 and qualified for the state first round on Saturday in Bowling Green.
The 200-yard medley relay team of Joshua DiGiovanni, Andrew McWherter, Seth Puraty, and Jack Mann came in sixth place in 2:21.51.
The 200-yard freestyle relay team was disqualified for leaving the block too soon.
As a team, Fort Campbell finished in fifth place with 165 points, two points ahead of sixth-place Christian County and nine points behind fourth-place Hopkinsville.
Henderson County (354) won the region title.
