Hopkins County Central is looking to one of its own to be the next head football coach for the Storm program, and will go with a ‘youth’ movement at the same time. After floating around the chat circuit for more than a week, the school made the official announcement Thursday afternoon that Adrian Stringer would take over the Storm for the 2026 season.
Stringer was the starting quarterback for Hopkins County Central during his senior season in 2021. He passed for 2,337 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also rushed for 352 yards and 8 scores.
After graduation, Stringer spent two years playing at Illinois College and then was an assistant on the staff.
He served as an assistant for the Storm football team during the 2025 season.
