Coming off a loss to St. Mary earlier in the week, the Livingston Central Cardinals got back on the winning track Thursday night. The Cardinals, as usual, got a big night from Logan Wring, as the Cardinals rolled to a 77-47 win over Fort Campbell in Smithland.

The Cardinals got out to a 14-10 lead after the opening quarter of the game. Then, the Livingston Central defense took over in the second quarter, limiting Fort Campbell to just four field goals and extending the Cardinals’ lead to 31-18 at the half.

The Livingston offense found another gear as the second half started, putting up 27 points in the third and blowing the lead out to 58-33. The Cardinals rode it on out over the final eight minutes to take the 30 point win.

Logan Wring ended the night with 25 points. Bryson Walked added 19 points. Avery Zain scored 15 and Ethan Garner joined the double figures party with 10.

Tyreek Anthony was Fort Campbell’s leading scorer with 15 points. Kyre Ferguson was the other Falcon in double figures with 11. Joseph Katz ended the game with 7 points.

The Falcons shot just 20 of 59 from the field, including 3 of 26 on three-pointers.

Fort Campbell drops to 6-13 and goes back on the road Friday night to take on Crittenden County.
