
The Dawsons Springs Panthers faced off with McLean County on the road on Friday evening hoping to snap their losing streak. But instead, the streak continued with a 74-46 win for the Cougars, which was their third in their last four games.
McLean County had also lost by double-digits in their last game, but they were the ones who were able to bounce back withe a huge home win over Dawson Springs.
This is now the third win in a row that McLean has been able to get against Dawson, with the last win by the Panthers against the Cougars being back in December of 2024.
This is now the fifth loss in a row for the Panthers. Two of those games have been by a single point, while the other three have been by 22 or more.
Dawsons Springs now has a 5-14 record so far this season, which is something they will be looking to improve upon in their next game.
They will get that chance on Tuesday, February 10, against Community Christian. Their game will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Dawson Springs High School.
