A big day Saturday for Madisonville-North Hopkins swimmer Sy Soriano. Taking nearly two seconds off of his regional swim time from Monday, Soriano finished in second place in the Boys 100 Yard Freestyle in the first round of the state swim meet in Bowling Green. Swimming in his third event of the day, Soriano very nearly pulled off the win.
