The winner of next month’s Second Region Boys’ Basketball Tournament will get an opening round game in the night session at the UK Healthcare Sweet 16 at Rupp Arena.
The Region 2 winner will play the Region 8 winner on Thursday, March 19, at 6:00 pm. The top four teams in Region 2 in the KHSAA RPI are defending champion Henderson County (17-4), Lyon County (20-6), Webster County (16-7), and Union County (13-8).
The top four teams in Region 8 are North Oldham (16-5), defending champion South Oldham (15-7), Anderson County (18-4), and Spencer County (15-8).
The winner will play the winner of Regions 6 and 14 on Friday, March 20, at 6:00 pm.
